LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST
Avital K. Cohen, Psy.D.
Dr. Cohen is a licensed psychologist in Georgia and Alabama. Her passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families started at a young age and progressed throughout her life experiences working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She received her doctorate from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and completed her internship at Brooke Army Medical Center. During her subsequent military service in the United States Army, Dr. Cohen supported soldiers and their families through their needs at home and overseas. She deployed to Iraq and earned a Bronze Star for her service during her deployment. Currently, her clinical focus is on the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as other common problems in the pediatric population, including developmental delays, learning problems, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), emotional disorders, behavioral issues, and more. Dr. Cohen is also passionate about identifying gifted students, as well as determining supportive services for individuals who are twice exceptional. While she does not offer therapy services, she provides a variety of treatment planning/care coordination services. In addition to her work with children and families, she also specializes in assessment and treatment planning services for autistic adults and adults with other developmental differences. Her work with the Georgia Autism Assessment Collaborative (GAAC) through Emory Autism Services further supports and enriches her work related to ASD.
Dr. Cohen’s work with individuals with developmental disabilities has made her passionate about supporting families applying for or renewing their Katie Beckett Deeming Waiver and NOW/COMP waiver services. She understands the short time frames in which these evaluations often must be completed.

Asher Lindenbaum, Psy.D.
Dr. Lindenbaum is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. He completed his doctoral training at William James College with a concentration in Child and Families of Adversity and Resilience. He has worked with patients in a variety of clinical settings including therapeutic high schools, outpatient mental health settings, residential care, children's hospitals, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinics. He completed his doctoral internship at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts, and moved to Atlanta with his family to complete his postdoctoral fellowship at Peachtree Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Lindenbaum has conducted research developing early screening tools for ASD, and his dissertation focused on teenagers with ASD and their understanding of emotions in cartoons. He specializes in early diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in young children, and in the development of mental health disorders in children and teenagers. He is passionate about creating a comfortable, warm environment in which patients and their family members can fully share their perspective in order to create an enriching testing experience that can lead to successful and suitable interventions.

Joonsung Kim, Ph.D.
Dr. Kim is a licensed psychologist at Peachtree Pediatric Psychology. He has worked in public school systems, hospitals, and private clinics in rural and urban areas. He combines his various experiences with training in applied behavior analysis to help clients find their strengths and weaknesses. He received his doctorate and masters in Educational Psychology with a focus in School Psychology from the University of Georgia. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. His interests include afterschool programs, applied behavior analysis, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Laura Tilton, M.S.
Laura obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Armstrong Atlantic State University (currently Georgia Southern University), followed by a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Augusta University in 2016. Working with children has always been a passion of hers. She enjoys conducting psychological assessments in order to assist families with best supporting their children.
Outside of work, she enjoys crafting and going on walks with her husband, daughter, and their new baby boy.

Angela Sneed MS, SSP, NCSP
Angela is originally from southern Florida and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stetson University. She earned her Master’s and Specialist in School Psychology degrees from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.
Prior to joining the P3 team in 2021, Angela spent 8 years working as a School Psychologist in public school districts in South Carolina and Georgia. She has extensive experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, and collaborating with school-based teams as they make decisions regarding special education eligibility. Some of her interest areas include language-based learning disabilities, nonverbal learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and visual impairments. She enjoys working with students to search for an explanation for their challenges.
Angela holds the distinguished credential of Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP #43384). As such, she is committed to the highest standards of ethics and professional practices. She participates in ongoing continuing education to maintain this credential, and to stay current with best practices and new developments within the field.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Rachel Barnes, B.A. CSP
Rachel obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College and is one of the few certified specialists in psychometry in the state of Georgia. She is currently a doctoral student at Georgia State University, pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology.
Before joining the P3 team, Rachel worked in Pre-K as a special education paraprofessional. She then spent 2 years in pediatric behavioral health, giving neuropsychological as well as psychoeducational evaluations. Her areas of interest include literacy, language skills, and school readiness. She enjoys working with children and adolescents, but thinks toddlers are the most fun to work with!
Outside of work and school, Rachel loves playing video games, fencing, exercising, and drawing.

Jani Howington, B.S.
Jani is an Atlanta native with a bachelor’s of science in neuroscience from Agnes Scott College. With nearly 4 years of testing experience following her undergraduate experience, she continues to hone skills related to assessment administration, patient engagement, and psychology which will assist in her plan to pursue higher education. Her interests range from autism diagnoses to trauma and addiction and span across a wide demographic. Jani follows a path aimed towards helping others understand themselves and the world around them.
Beyond assisting in psychological assessment, Jani enjoys cooking, reading, and caring for her cat.

Danielle “Dani” Vaughn, M.A.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Danielle Vaughn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical and Behavioral Neuroscience and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology before moving to Georgia. She is currently a third-year doctoral student in the School Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Georgia. Danielle has over four years of experience conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations in both clinical and public-school settings. She enjoys working with children of all ages and has a particular interest in early childhood development, ADHD, and executive functioning. Her current research interests focus on the impact of screen time in early childhood on executive functioning and cognitive development. Danielle aims to create a warm, supportive experience for children and families. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys staying active, taking her dog on walks, cooking, and reading.

Robert Johnson, B.S.
Robert was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Robert is currently a doctoral student at Mercer University's College of Health Professions pursuing his Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. His current research examines the developmental trajectories of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with a concentrated exploration of restricted and repetitive behaviors (RRB) and associated language outcomes. He is excited to gain clinical experience working with children and adolescents through his training at P3 this year!
Outside of school and work, Robert enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, playing volleyball, and binge-watching just about anything.

Bria Coppin, B.A.
Bria is from West Palm Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College. She is currently a doctoral student at Mercer University pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. Bria is passionate about working with children and adolescents and is excited to further her clinical training with P3!

Bailey is originally from New Jersey but has lived in Georgia since late childhood. She attended Georgia Tech, where she got her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in the Science of Mental Health and Well-Being. She is currently a doctoral student at Mercer University pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. She’s excited to work with kids and teens and enhance her clinical training at P3 this year. In her free time, Bailey enjoys watching movies, reading, trying out new coffee shops, and traveling!.

Britley is from Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is currently a doctoral student at Mercer University pursuing her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. Britley loves working with children and strives to build a supportive environment. In her free time, Britley enjoys going to the beach, experiencing the fall weather, painting, singing, and figure skating.

Bhumi Patel, MS
Bhumi Patel is originally from Ohio and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Brenau University and is currently continuing her training in Brenau University’s Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology program. Bhumi is passionate about working with children and adolescents and has a particular interest in pediatric neuropsychology and psychological assessment. She hopes to continue working with children and families throughout her career.
Outside of the clinic, Bhumi enjoys hiking, traveling, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

Cydney Jones, MS
Cydney is from Georgia, in a suburb east of Atlanta. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Data Science and Analytics, from Kennesaw State University. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, both at Brenau University. Her areas of interest include neuro and social psychology, and she thrives on the challenge and reward of working with adolescents.
Outside of her professional and academic responsibilities, Cydney finds balance by preparing elaborate meals at home, spending time outdoors, engaging in creative projects, and exploring film and media, with a preference for work produced by independent creators

Rebecca LaBanca, M.Ed.
Rebecca is an Atlanta native and has several years of administrative experience. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Agnes Scott College and her Master's Degree in Education from Loyola College in Maryland. She joined Peachtree Pediatric Psychology in September 2024.
Rebecca enjoys visiting the botanical garden and art museums in her spare time.

Marilyn Zinns
Marilyn joined the team at P3 after moving to Georgia from New York. She has also lived in Belgium, Mexico, and Florida. She has many years of working in Medical Office Management and joined the Peachtree Pediatric Psychology team in 2021.
Marilyn has 3 children and 4 granddaughters, who are the light of her life.

Breyonna Henley
Breyonna was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She has three years of administration experience and graduated from Georgia State University in 2025 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Health starting Fall 2026. She joined Peachtree Pediatric Psychology in May 2026.
